We collect the following types of information when you use NomikPro:

Personal Information
  • Full name, email address, and phone number
  • City, state, and address
  • PAN number and GST number (where relevant to your service request)
  • Account credentials (password stored as a one-way hash)
Usage & Technical Information
  • IP address and device information
  • Pages visited, features used, and actions taken on the platform
  • Browser type and operating system
Uploaded Documents
  • Any documents, certificates, or files you upload as part of a service request

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your NomikPro account
  • To match your service requests with qualified CAs in your city
  • To process payments and issue receipts
  • To communicate updates about your requests
  • To improve platform features and user experience
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations

3. Non-Disclosure of CA Professionals

NomikPro operates on a city-wise CA marketplace model. The identities of the Chartered Accountants and legal professionals assigned to your requests are never disclosed to users or any third party. All partner professionals are contractually obligated to maintain full confidentiality regarding client information and their association with NomikPro.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Limited data sharing occurs only in the following circumstances:

  • With the assigned CA professional — limited to information necessary to complete your service request
  • With payment processors (Razorpay) for secure transaction processing
  • With regulatory authorities if legally required to do so
  • With third-party analytics tools (anonymised and aggregated data only)

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with industry-standard encryption (AES-256 at rest, TLS in transit). We implement access controls, regular security audits, and intrusion detection measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Document data is retained for 7 years in compliance with Indian statutory requirements.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to operate our platform and analytical cookies to understand how users interact with it. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling non-essential cookies will not affect your ability to use core platform features.

7. Your Rights

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to statutory retention requirements)
  • Object to certain processing activities
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
